Privacy Policy for AudioCleanPro

About the product: see the Aulio Studio homepage.
1. Information We Collect
Aulio Studio is a 100% on-device app, your audio files are never uploaded to any server. We collect:
- Apple DeviceCheck tokens, used solely to enforce the 10-day free trial limit. No audio data is involved.
- Non-personal app diagnostics, sent alongside the DeviceCheck request: app version, OS version, hardware model, locale, timezone, trial status, days remaining, paid status, and a randomly-generated anonymous device ID. We use this to fix bugs and improve the app. We do not collect your name, email, IP address, file contents, or any other identifying information.
- Analytics and crash reports, via Google's Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics: feature usage events (e.g. which cleanup options were used), app version, and crash stack traces, tied to the same randomly-generated anonymous device ID above, never to your name or email. No file contents or file names are ever included. This is on by default but can be turned off at any time from the app's Settings menu ("Share Analytics & Crash Reports").
- Purchase information, handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We do not receive or store payment details.
- Name and email address (optional), if you choose to sign up for product updates after your first export, we store your name and email address. This is entirely voluntary; no app feature is gated behind providing this information. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email we send.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:
- DeviceCheck tokens, to check and set the free-trial claim bit on Apple's servers. Tokens are never stored by us.
- Analytics and crash reports, to understand which features are used, diagnose bugs, and fix crashes. This data is processed by Google (Firebase) on our behalf under Google's own privacy terms.
- Name and email (optional), to send occasional product updates, new feature announcements, and to ask for feedback. Providing this information is not mandatory and no app feature requires it. We do not sell, rent, or share your contact information with third parties.
3. Data Storage
All audio processing happens entirely on your Mac. Your audio files never leave your device and are never uploaded to, or stored on, any server. The only data that reaches our servers or Google's Firebase infrastructure is the anonymous DeviceCheck token, app diagnostics, and the analytics/crash data described in Section 1, none of which ever includes audio.
4. Your Rights
You have the right to request deletion of any data we hold. You can also disable analytics and crash reporting at any time from the app's Settings menu.
5. Contact
