About Aulio Studio
Aulio Studio (formerly AudioClean Pro) is an independent Mac app made by one person: me, Amit Nadir. I designed it, wrote the code, trained and tuned the audio models, and I answer the support email. This page explains who is behind the app and the knowledge base, so you know whose hands your audio, and your trust, are in.
Who builds Aulio Studio
I am a professional mobile and macOS software engineer. I have spent years shipping native software on Apple platforms, and Aulio Studio is where that work meets a problem I kept hitting myself: cleaning up real-world recordings without shipping them to a stranger's server.
Every part of the app is built in-house. The noise and reverb reduction, the filler-word and stutter detection, the on-device transcription, and the two real-time AUv3 plugins for Logic Pro all run locally on the Apple Silicon Neural Engine. Nothing is uploaded. I made that choice on day one and the whole architecture follows from it, which is also why I can write about how AI audio cleaning actually works from the inside rather than from a press release.
Why this page exists
Search engines and readers both ask a fair question of any "how to clean your audio" article: who wrote this, and do they actually know? For Aulio Studio the answer is the same person who built the tool. The articles in the knowledge base are written and maintained by me, drawing on the real signal-processing and machine-learning work that goes into the product, not on generic advice scraped from elsewhere.
Where an article makes a technical claim, it reflects how the app itself is engineered. Where it recommends a setting or a workflow, it is one I have tested on real recordings from podcasters, journalists, and video editors who use Aulio Studio every day.
What the app does
In one native Mac app, Aulio Studio removes background noise, cuts filler words and long silences, reduces room echo, transcribes in 99 languages, and exports clips straight from the transcript, all offline.
