These terms govern your use of the Aulio Studio Mac app and the auliostudio.com website. By downloading, installing, or using Aulio Studio, you agree to these terms. About the product: see the Aulio Studio homepage.

1. The App

Aulio Studio is a native macOS application (macOS 14.0 or later) that cleans and processes audio entirely on-device. It is distributed exclusively through the Mac App Store, and your download and purchase are also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Free Trial

Aulio Studio includes a 10-day free trial with full feature access, enforced per-device via Apple's DeviceCheck to prevent repeated free trials on the same device across reinstalls. No credit card is required to start the trial.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

After the trial, continued use requires a purchase: a one-time lifetime license, a Pro lifetime license, a monthly subscription, or standalone plugin purchases, as offered in the app and on the Mac App Store at the time of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple; we never receive or store your payment details. A subscription, where offered, automatically renews until cancelled; you can manage or cancel it at any time from your Apple ID subscription settings.

4. Refunds

All purchases are billed by Apple through the Mac App Store. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own refund policy — reportaproblem.apple.com — not by us directly.

5. License Grant

Subject to these terms and Apple's licensing terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Aulio Studio on Apple-branded devices you own or control, for the purpose for which it is intended. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app itself.

6. Acceptable Use

You are responsible for the audio and video content you process with Aulio Studio and for having the necessary rights to that content. You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose.

7. No Warranty

Aulio Studio is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that results will meet your specific requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Aulio Studio. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
